Active substance: Testosterone Propionate
The main effects and Testosterone Rapid pharmacodynamics: The preparation is applied as a substitute of testosterone a naturally occurring hormone. The preparation is only administered parenterally. The preparation exerts anabolic and androgenic effects. It is known as the shortest acting ester of the testosterone, thus the application is made every other day and not like in Testosterone enanthate every over week. The preparation is used by athletes for bulking purposes as all other testosterones.
Proposed clinical use: The drug is normally prescribed in:
- Oligospermia
- Puberty retardation
- Impotence
- Osteoporosis
- Uterine myoma
- Endometriosis
- Climax
- Mammary gland cancer
The drug is also used off-label in athletes for bulking purposes.
Absolute and relative contraindications: The drug must not be used in cases of:
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparations or a known allergic reaction to drugs of the same class.
- Prostate gland or mammary gland carcinoma
- Nephrosis
- Hypercalcemia
- Diabetes
- Edema
- Prostate gland hypertrophy
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Atherosclerosis
- Coronary heart disease
- Heart failure
The preparation should be used with caution after a consultation with your doctor in the following conditions:
- Malignant neoplasia
- Severe liver or kidney failure
- Ischemic heart disease
- Arterial hypertension
- Epilepsy
- Migraines
